Topshop Holiday Sales Picks.

Oh how I wish I was on holiday. Sitting on a sun lounger with a book I picked up in duty-free in hand soaking up some rays while the bar man brings over an obnoxious cocktail. Instead, I’m working from home half-dead from this sweaty, muggy London weather dreaming of a mini escape and before I knew it I was 4 pages deep in the Topshop summer sale, picking pieces for a holiday that hasn’t currently materialised.

1 Ruffle Bardot Midi Dress | Was £39.00 Now £25.00

This dress gives me Grecian beach vibes, I can imagine wearing this day-to-night over a bikini with some rope sandals and later for a casual dinner in the old town.

2 Khaki Shirred Cami Bikini Top & High Waist Tanga Bikini Bottoms | Was £30.00 Now £10.00

I LOVE this bikini, it is so understated yet classy with the ruched feature skimming over lumps and bumps and the khaki colour complimenting all skin tones. I would wear this again and again with an oversized white linen shirt and oversized raffia hat for poolside casual-cool.

3 Frayed Oversized Straw Hat | Was £26.00 Now £15.00

This summer more than ever is all about straw hats. Specifically, ones so big you’ll need to carry them as hand luggage and to be fair to them, I’m not even mad. They are so great for those no makeup carefree days and double as a great shield from the sun for a beachside nap.

4 FLAME Rope Tote Bag | Was £27.00 Now £15.00

Neutral colour rope and straw bags are all the rage at the moment, and I am fully behind the bandwagon that mixes cute fashion with recyclable materials. This bag is perfect for carrying poolside essentials like SPF, a magazine and your room key and will look gorgeous while doing so. This bag will have no trouble withstanding the sand due to the woven material and would also be great off-beach with girlier dresses due to the round handle detailing making it a style statement in it’s own right.

5 Petite Washed Black Double Rip Straight Jeans | Was £46.00 now £30.00

There is just something about a straight leg jean that screams ‘put-together’ but also laid back style. The crazy temperatures here in London (that wouldn’t be amiss in a holiday destination really) have got me reaching for anything BUT skinnies and for warmer nights a straight leg with a knee rip is just the ticket! Lately, I’ve been pairing these with a cowl neck cami and strappy sandals for a ‘Jeans and a nice top’ type look.

6 Copper Mini Ruffle Slip Dress | Was £39.00 Now £25.00

This is the kind of dress you pull out when you need the wow factor, imagine this with a top knot, lace up heels and a mini bag (and maybe a bit of highlighter) to dance the night away with the girls in or a date-night ‘oh this old thing’ type staple. The copper colour will compliment all skin-tones especially on top of a sun-kissed glow -even if it is artificial.

7 HEPBURN Zebra Sandals | Was £29.00 Now £10.00

Oh i’m obsessed with these zebra print goodies. The type of sandals that you can slot into each other and chuck in your bag when you don’t need them and the comfiest, most convenient thing on earth when you do- and for a STEAL! These sandals with the beading look much more expensive, like a &OtherStories staple and will go with pretty much everything on holiday and back home with a pair of comfy’s.
